Steve Bull Opens Outdoor Learning Space

On 28 August we  officially opened our Outdoor Learning Space that was funded by the Steve Bull Foundation. Steve came along to cut the ribbon and present prizes for the fishing competition taking place that day. The prize for the most fish caught went to Michael Dudley, who caught 36 fish and the prize for the biggest fish caught was won by Callum Clarkson. Steve also handed out awards to two young volunteers who have given their time during 2014; Jordan Findlay, Luke Fortune were commended for the time and commitment they have given to the Moat and Gardens.

A very big thanks should go to Steve Bull and his fellow trustees for their generosity; the Outdoor Learning Space will make a big difference to the Moat & Gardens enabling more young people to take part in horticultural activities regardless of weather conditions.
