National Fishing Month at the Albrighton Trust.

Congratulations to all those who participated in National Fishing Month at the Albrighton Trust.

National Fishing Month is aimed at encouraging people from all walks of life to have a go at fishing. This year’s event proved to be a particular success at the Albrighton Trust with every fishing peg taken throughout the four-week period.

“National Fishing Month is aimed at encouraging more people into fishing no matter what their age, level of experience or ability”, comments Sandie Jackson, Operations Manager at the Albrighton Trust, “this also the ethos of the Albrighton Trust” she added “so we always thoroughly enjoy making this event part of our annual events programme”.

All the participants had the opportunity to hone their skills throughout the month in preparation for the fishing competition in the final week. Everyone who took part received a certificate of participation with the overall winners, Jacob Brewer, Aaron Johnson, Jonathon Halls and Declan Simpson being awarded with a trophy and brand new fishing pole.
