Me & You, Growing Together

 

The Albrighton Trust is delighted to announce the launch of a new project to provide worthwhile and meaningful work experience for young people disadvantaged by ill health. If you are, or know someone aged between 19 – 25, who has finished education or is studying part time and would like to work one day per week in Horticulture or woodcraft, please contact the Albrighton Trust.

 

Participants will have the opportunity to grow or make produce or products to sell as part of a small social enterprise scheme. Participants will have the opportunity to:

 

Learn practical skills in gardening and woodcraft

 

Work within a team

 

Engage and sell to the general public

 

Design and create new products

 

Plan and produce products for sale

 

Socialise

The first 12 sessions are funded by the BIG Lottery, Reaching Communities fund, if participants wish to continue to be involved in the project, they can, a small attendance fee would be applicable.
