Introduction to Photography

An introductory programme for budding photographers to learn a range of basic photography skills based around the themes of “nature” and “action”, both on location and in the studio.

At the end of the programme participants will have a good understanding of how to use aperture, shutter speed, composition and basic exposure techniques to produce both close-up and action shots inspired by nature and the activities taking place at the Albrighton Moat and Gardens. Participants will also be invited to submit their favourite or most accomplished photo into the Albrighton Trusts' photographic competition. 

Who: this is an all ability programme aimed at young people aged 11 and upwards.

When: every Friday from 1pm to 3pm throughout the summer holidays:- 29th July, 5th, 12th 19th, 26th of August & 2nd September.

Where: the Albrighton Moat and Gardens, Blue House Lane, Albrighton, Nr Wolverhampton, WV7 3FL.

How much: £45 per person (including use of all photographic equipment).

 

You will need: to dress appropriately for both indoor and outdoor work & to bring your own 16GB memory stick.
